The Person Behind the Brand
Hi! I’m Jebbeh Marie, the creator and designer behind District & Peach Events. My journey into event decorating started in 2019 when my mother asked me to put together her 60th birthday celebration at the very last minute. With only a couple of weeks to pull it off, I created a milestone party that she still talks about to this day.

My journey into event decorating started in 2019 when my mother asked me to put together her 60th birthday celebration at the very last minute. With only a couple of weeks to pull it off, I created a milestone party that she still talks about to this day.
After that I took on my biggest project, planning my own wedding as well as planning and decorating my Liberian Traditional Wedding. Within that timeframe, I also planned my bridesmaid proposal and continued assisting with other family events. With every detail I created I was reminded of how much I love creating beautiful, memorable experiences that bring joy.

Fast forward to 2025 when I created a balloon install for a first birthday party and immediately started receiving a lot of questions about party décor services. That was the moment I realized that this is something I could pursue professionally, and from there District & Peach Events was born a few months later.

The name District & Peach is a nod to the places and experiences that have shaped me: “District” comes from my roots in Prince George’s County, Maryland, located right outside of Washington, D.C (aka The District). This area is known for its blend of class, culture, creativity, and a little bit of street edge. Marylanders/Washingtonians are known for loving curated and meaningful, signature experiences. “Peach” represents my new home in Atlanta, where I've embraced the bold, over-the-top, Southern style that makes up this city. Atlantians love a luxe moment and aren’t afraid to go big. District & Peach Events is a blend of these two worlds – merging bold, edgy, elegant décor with curated vibes.

Whether it’s a balloon backdrop or an entire décor experience, creating memories through design truly fills my heart.
